National Sandwich Day is coming up this Saturday, November 3rd and we are getting ready to celebrate!  Our Milanese Caprese Sandwich is a good start, made with Breaded Chicken Cutlet, Fresh Mozzarella, Arugula, Tomatoes & Pesto. Served on your choice of Freshly Baked Ciabatta, Seven-Grain Wheat, Foccacia. Served with Side Salad or Rosemary Potatoes.

Special Event: Rosti Tuscan Kitchen and Dana Vollmer Go Gluten Free!

Last week Rosti Tuscan Kitchen was fortunate to participate in a special event featuring Gluten Free Pizza Tasting and Presentation Featuring Dana Vollmer. The event took place at Legacy Gym in Los Angeles, which is owned by former Olympic Swimmer Jon Park.

Guests of the event heard about the benefits of a gluten free lifestyle and got to sample award-winning gluten-free and vegan pizza crusts from Venice Bakery which were then prepared by us, Rosti Tuscan Kitchen!

Dana’s diet is unique amongst fellow Olympic swimmers. In lieu of carb-heavy foods traditionally eaten by athletes, Dana adheres to a strict gluten-free diet which has improved her health and performance.

“Not being able to eat one of my favorite foods, pizza, was extremely disappointing until I found Venice Bakery’s gluten-free and vegan pizza!” Dana says. “Since eating my first bite of their gluten-free pizza, I was in heaven…they are by far the best that I have ever had!”
